Beginning or early intermediate sailors will learn the language of sailing and of sailboats, how to make the best use of the wind, how to tack and jibe, how to trim sails and steer on the different points of sail, how to be safe on the water, how to read a basic chart, and how to understand the basic rules of navigating and right of way.
